Anyone know the thread size?

I found this pic in a 9 year old thread. I need to do this also, but things are really rusted. Thought I may be able to chase the threads enough to get a second nut on with a couple of fender washers sandwiching the heat shield.

Think I’ll be okay without it for a week or so? Doesn’t seem to be a short term problem.

 

You could most likely go without it indefinitely. I'd say that depends on what it shielding. Cab floor? No worries.
