One the SC is on sale right now. Two, This would be my fourth Toyota at my dealer so they ate half the labor, and I sold two tacoma's for them on referral. 3500 for the Supercharger, 800 on labor, fit kit was free, and they cut me a 500 dollar check for the first referral.

I remember reading people using it on the dealerships website and having it shipped out to them.

Use the search function and start typing in a combination of keywords such as 25%, supercharger, coupon... Maybe you'll stumble on the thread.

I decided to be nice and do the leg work...

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/deals-coupons/187919-black-friday-code-thread-4.html

Code is posted on page 3, on page 4 you can see the code being applied for the discount. Who knows, maybe they'll do it again this year. Hold out a couple on months and save yourself a few hundred dollars.

I accept my messenger payment in Paypal, Rep, or sexual favors- no preferences.

    G'night.

mgrande, Toyota of Winter Haven, they started off all it's a big job involving blah blah blah. Asked if they had done a supercharger install, they said they had, but on a Tundra. Told them I'd shop around, they came right back with the $7-800 offer. I'll look into the Fl section, would like to meet some locals, thanks.

Here at a local Toyota dealership I got the SC and TRD exhaust installed for just under $5000 out the door. And they detailed the truck, engine bay and all.

Seriously have the dealer do it for the balance of the factory warranty. ~$600 for worry free warranty was a no brainer for me.

Now dont jump on me here guys, this is a serious question.
I have been looking to SC my 2012 Taco for a while, going to do it in December.
The price, out the door, at a dealer should never be anymore than $4900 for TRD installed.
That should get you a TRD SC, Fit Kit and Install, tax included. If its more than that, more than $5k anyway, you are being taken advantage of. Walk away.

Anyway. I dont understand why anyone with a factory warranty would be considering a URD Supercharger. Why would you do that? Its not like the URD generates a ton more horsepower right?
At least for me it seems to be best to buy a SC from Toyota, TRD and have Toyota Install it. I guess I just dont see what the big URD gain is, especially when the warranty is involved.

No, not saying URD voids warranty. Just saying TRD SC gets the warranty of your truck.

Now, if you are at the end of warranty or out of warranty I guess I can see why one would look to URD for the SC. Still, I would go with TRD, even if my warranty was gone.

Take it easy on me guys, I know a lot of you guys prefer URD over TRD SC. There must be a reason. I just dont know what that is. I think a SC made by the same company that makes the truck is much more appealing currently. Yes I know TRD and URD have teamed up to work on some projects lately, I think that is cool also.

    Sorry for jacking the thread.

On the top end. I spend some time on XR-U and they argue back and forth a lot between the TRD and URD S/C's about which one is actually faster. I guess the current track record is that the TRD may not have as good of peak numbers, but it has a better overall power band than the URD particular on the low-end.

Got any stats on that? How much more?
I see URD talk all over this site. There must be something to it. But I will go with TRD SC and keep my 125,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

Seriously though, I am curious what happens if you put a URD SC on a new Taco and something happens to the engine. Does it void or mess with your warranty? I bet it does.

How long does URD warranty the SC itself?

"Rotrex warranties their superchargers with an industry leading three year UNLIMITED mileage warranty."

I don't know exact numbers but only 1, maybe 2 guys have got the TRD S/C's to break the 400hp mark without nos, while there are several guys out there running URD S/C's over 400hp, but the TRD's are supposed to produce way more torque on the low-end so they tend to run faster 1/4 mile times.

Yeah if anything goes wrong with your tacoma they will be very quick to blame it on your URD S/C and not cover it.
