Good brand, yeah they aren't bad. Good product, depends what you will use it for. This shouldn't be used for dedicated recovery and obstacle protection. The bumper will rip off the truck if using any type of dynamic or kinetic recovery. But it looks good at the mall.

I've got no complaints with my BA.
I don't think that there are many bumpers that can be pulled from in lieu of the frame's recovery point. Especially for ones that accept a winch.

It depends what you are using it for. Is it just for looks? Then BA is fine.

Are you planning on using it for recovery or winching? Then avoid it and get something like C4 LoPro bumper and the support brackets. I have no experience directly with BA this is just what I have heard from a few shops and read a handful of stories on the internet. Personally, I would not risk it with the forces involved for recoveries.

The C4 brackets are pretty beefy. I've winched on mine a bunch, but no dynamic recoveries, thankfully.

Yea they are really beefy and tie back further into the frame. You pretty much would have to rip the truck in half for those to fail.

What bumper are you running with the C4 Bracket. I'm getting the SSO slimeline bumper installed soon so hopefully it'll work with that.

I've had the C4 hybrid bumper for about 4 years with the C4 brackets. Not sure if the SSO will mount any different but I'm sure you could call them up an ask for their advice.

C4 says it may be compatible but probably requires some extra drilling. I have the C4 LoPro bumper, very similar to the SSO slimline, brackets tie in perfect

I saw this video on Youtube. He's running the SSO slimline bumper and BAMF bracket. All he had to do was drill/punch out the OEM bolt and was able to fit it. I do like the C4 more but I'll probably end up getting the BAMF.
