So I was trying to dig pennies out of my air vent that my son had so kindly deposited in there and found this wire that seems to lead to no where. As I was trying to find the best way to get them out, because just like everything that kids get into, the pennys are larger than the vent holes unless turned at precisely the correct angle, anyway, started taking apart the dash and removed the little black panel directly below the vent. Much to my surprise there was a wire connected to the back of the panel. Any guess as to what it goes to?

No worries, its for a switch to turn on or off the passenger airbag in the access and regular cabs.

As for the pennies- idk, my bff jill? I'd catch them before they work their way to the fan.

its there for the airbag switch in access cabs, most of the wiring is the same in the double and access cabs, i wonder if a switch would work too...

Thanks, with that being said, I pulled off the other side and there is a wire that is bunched up that looks like it connects to the back of the panel too. Know what this goes to/could it be used for any accesory mods?

In my truck, that panel is the passenger airbag shutoff switch. I stick the key in it and turn it to either "auto" or "off."

Edit: dang you guys post fast. There where no replies when I began typing my reply. After I hit "post reply" I found several folks beat me to the punch!
