Anyone know what this is and can it be moved safely?

    There's mounts to put a compressor over the ABS pump. That's where mine is, took all of about ten minutes to slap it on and be done.

    Every Tacoma model except the OR and Pro have the ABS pump there.

    They also failed to put bed lights in until 2015.
    The real issue is the routing of the lines. Notice how they drop out of the master cylinder and valve, then travel upward, across, then downward to the pump. This is a bit of an oversimplification, but unlike most systems where it's a top down system, there's multiple spots for bubbles to congregate making bleeding a multi step process, or one involving a $4000 computer.

    Well, I have an Apogee Offroad rear bumper and they are soon(tm) to be releasing a swingout, so this is a possibility since I could mount the tire there...
