Just bought an 08 SR5 Prerunner. Old man owned with 42k on her. Impeccable shape and maintenance records. The gentleman who owned it was an elderly man who passed away and I bought it from the familly. Looking through the maintenance records I noticed at 40k he had the dealership clean and flush the fuel systen,Emissions system serviced, powertrain computer checked and throttle body cleaned. Which I thought was a little weird for such low miles. might explain the dead spot when first pressing the gas pedal. Then I noticed this tag on the inside of the hood. I figured it was a "tbs recall tag" Does anyone know how I can find out for sure what these codes mean?

Looks similar to the recall stickers that we used to place on cars when we performed a recall on GM products. Dealer code looks to be 12148. Call Toyota and ask them for the name of the dealer with that code, then you can call the dealer and ask for information.

A google search came up with a Vehicle Calibration ID# multiple times. A couple have been misfire related. Probably doesn't help much but i'm bored.

I've asked that bamatoy remove that signature. It's like a bad scratch on a record, I need to push my eyes past it. As far as the other maintenance on the vehicle us old men get funny in our dotage and this may have been something he requested to cure a real or percived problem. Or it could have been an unscrupulous person taking financial advantage of the old man.

My truck has the same sticker, but I can't read the faded writing on it. I too thought that is referred to the accelerator recall.

I have mentioned this many times before, as many people joke around about my sig, but this one was the one that became the most popular. I used to change the sig every month or so, and when I changed from this I actually received over 20 PMs telling me I better go back to this one. lmao.

He does a have nice sig. The dealer will have to be the one to probably give you the information on that tag.

Not sure why this is keep going. Sticker says 90L which is floor mat / unintended acceleration recall.
When Toyota replaces floor mats, cuts gas pedal and installs override they put sticker on the truck to mark it that it was done. that's the sticker
