I am looking for this exact wheel, however US wheel has had them on back order for the past 6 months.

Is there a copy offered by a lesser known brand?

Also I'm confused where it says backspacing 4 inch. Offset -13mm
    Are these the same thing?

They are related but not the same. Offset is the distance in mm from the centerline of the wheel. Backspacing is the distance in inches from the back of the hub to the wheel edge.

Ok I understand, I think the item description is conflicting with itself. How can an 8 inch wide rim have a back spacing of 4 inch and any offset at all? I believe what it should be is a 3.5 backspacing approx.

There must be more to it than that. I just used a backspace to offset calculator last night, 4" bs on an 8" wide wheel came out to -12.7mm offset.

It’s 8” wide from bead to bead, actual width lip to lip is closer to 9”

Interesting. I guess I'll look for wheels that are described using either measurement system, seeing how they both equate to the same thing. Im really just trying to push the wheel out a bit to fit 32 inch tires on the stock 1st gen.

Thank you that makes all much more sense. I see where the extra 13mm is coming into play.

I ran 265 75 16 (32") on sock wheels (16x7 4.5" BS), stock 1st gen without rub. A friend ran the same size and wheel on his stock 01 and had only occasional slight rub on the frame. So to me they fit even with stock wheels. But to eliminate that possibility of occasional slight frame rub, a 4" BS is perfect and isn't so much that it causes rub elsewhere.

I now run a 285 75 16 (33) on 16x8 4" BS wheels, even at that size the frame rub is very rare. Only under certain offroad conditions and minor enough, and infrequent enough to be a non issue.

That's awesome, and exactly what I wanted to hear haha. Do you have any pics of that setup? I'm curious to see how it looks / what the tire poke with a 4" BS looks like

I run 16x8 with 4” of backspace too (-12mm offset) and only have a slight rub on the frame with 285/75 r16. Zero issues when I ran 265/70 r16.
