Lets see em, I am possibly going to making my own in the near future, I really like the relentess fabrications set up, but the price tag is a bit hefty, when I can go buy all the steal for less then half the price of them. I have pipe benders and a welder and all the tools necessary. So I was wondering to see if anyone has done this. Here is a link to the ones I would be purchasing for reference.

I'm thinking of doing them same, but not sure if I will find the time. It might end up making more sense to buy. The prices arent too bad for the amount of work involved. I'm mostly slowed down by getting the ideal positioning and geometry for the design. The metal work won't be bad. If anyone has some blueprints to use as a baseline to tweak to my liking I'd be up and running.

If I ever get anything going I'll post it up for you.

Had a guy named Adam make me a set. He runs 4X Innovations and ATO, venders on here, bolt on, can run them on next truck no problem.

I've been building my own for the last two years...that's enough to make you want to buy a set right there. Between life, work, kids, and other more important projects, I can never find time to work on them.

I will say that now while my truck is in the bodyshop, I have time on my hands, so I am trying to finish the paint job on my gas tank skid and will be working on them. A bunch of friendly ribbing from my buddies is a good driving factor too.

Yeah, I read through his thread. Definitely the way to go if you haven't already done all the footwork. Me, I have all the metal and then some. Basically the same design, but I will have to bend my DOM tubing.

I am building mine so that they can be removed from the truck. I made mounts similar to a receiver that will be welded to the frame. The legs of the sliders will slide into them and be bolted to the mounts. I am in the process of adding gussets to them for strength.

I made my own. They've worked great so far. The only picture I really have right now where you can see them good is this picture.

So for those who have built your own, bump out or no and why or why not?

I chose not to make mine with a kickout because I didn't like the look as much and I felt like it would almost give it more of something to get hung up on.
