Anyone miss your full size truck after buying a Tacoma?

Had an F150 for 13 years prior to my Tacoma. Only thing I really miss is the flat floor it the back seat. Only flipped up the seats occasionally to haul stuff but it sure was handy when you needed it. But the 6ft box is coming in more handy than the flat floor in the back. Even though the box is narrower and shallower I can get all my ice fishing gear in the box. With the F150 I was usually having to put stuff in the back seat. But I also had a Retrax cover so the canister took up a lot of space.

And I don't miss the gas mileage. I know a lot of people complain about the Tacoma mileage but my winter mpg is about the same as the summer mpg in the F150 and my summer mpg is way better.

I want the pre Taco sized Toyota pick up myself. I LOVED that size. Nope, not fast but nimble off road like a goat.

I would have loved to buy a new Hilux with 6-speed manual.
Drat. Not imported into the US, due to EPA restrictions.

I had a Gen 1 Tundra. Really liked the power and size. Quad cab with the 6’ bed was awesome. But hated how it drive. Felt like I was driving a Camry - not a truck.

But it was nice. If it was 4x4 I probably would’ve kept it. But my father in law was the previous owner and he ordered it in 2wd sine it was just his work truck.

No. I like the size and its ability to fit down what are typically UTV trails.

There are times my taco feels a bit camped or inadequate storage wise compared to a full size but ita ideal for driving around the city as it can fit within most parking spots as well as maneuvering trails.

I traded a 2019 Ram 1500 for my Taco. Best decision ever, so much easier to drive/maneuver/park. Never had a need for the full size even though I did tow a trailer for a while and the Hemi v8 had gobs of power for that. But otherwise it was just too much truck. My Taco is the perfect size, and a 6MT manual to boot so much more fun to drive. Sure there are times when the family takes it for a spin and everyone mentions how much tighter the Taco is compared to the Ram. But overall, zero regrets

The main thing I miss about my Ram 2500 with the 6.7 is the fuel economy. 20 MPG at 80 MPH was pretty decent given the massive size of the truck. Also driving a truck that didn't constantly downshift was a nice feature.

Sold my 2nd gen F150 Raptor for my 2022 TRD OR. Do miss the ample size and flat rear floor, Miss the boost and suspension.

Don’t miss the recalls like bad cam phasers. Like knowing my Toyota will continue to be here Looooong after that ford drivetrain breaks down.

Do think I should have bought a Tundra at times.

I like being able to park in normal parking spaces on the first try. I don't like that I get worse gas mileage with a lot less space.

I drove a 2002 silverado 2wd for 20 years and put 225k miles on it. It was a decent truck but went through 3 transmissions. The ONLY thing I miss is the great sounding exhaust. Can't replicate that on the Toyota V6. The Silverado was definitely bigger but not by that much, I think full size trucks have gotten way bigger. I did buy a utility trailer so I can haul stuff if needed but the Toyota is more realistic for my needs.
