Anyone notice a difference after long trips/camper shells

I took my taco on an 800 mile trip recently. After returning home, I feel like there is a slight change/lag when it shifts at certain RPMs. To put it simply, the engine feels weaker.

    Another question-
Does anyone notice a change in acceleration/shifting when they have a camper on the back?

Wanting to see if I am crazy or if anyone else ever took notice in this

I'm a bit confused on your question. Are you asking whether we feel a loss of acceleration after you throw a couple hundred extra pounds on the back with a camper shell? If that is your question, then I would say, in a 4 banger I noticed it. In my supercharged 3.4, I really didn't notice anything other than a slight drop in MPG. YMMV

I meant it to be two questions, my 3.4 6cyl seems to be much slower with it on.

Sounds pretty serious, and it has nothing to do with your cap.

Can't say I notice any difference with or without my cap on, but it is mostly on. It's an ARE MX fiberglass cap.
