Does this mean you might come to the meet on the 19th there foihdzas? Yeah, I got told a couple times it was 2010s that switched.

Re:Kelowna meet. March 19th at Knox mountain second lot (access to Pauls tomb trail) 10am to 2pm. Open to anyone who just wants to meet up. I might see if someone wants to try a trail out after the meet just for fun

I work until 8:00 am. So ... Most likely not. If it's still going on at 12:00, I'll try. I may be a bit loopy

Hey guys, also from Kelowna. I should be able to make the meet. Not sure if I'm up to any wheeling just yet as I picked up my truck a couple of weeks ago and I still like seeing her clean.

10 till 2 i will be there. I am going to bring a backroads map book and love seeing trails people like to take. I am used to running up to 16 hour shifts myself driving semi.
Regretfully just heard they might be trying to ditch me lol

Sounds good. Most trails I run aren't too bad for scraping up paint. I just like to get out to the bush

I have found a couple groups that allow other makes and models to come out with them. the local jeep guys and the toyota guys all seem ok. I have found a new great trail that I am looking forward to going to later in the summer. Its south of Princeton. Its called the Whipsaw trail and right now there is a bunch of snow in there so it has to melt some but I will be doing upgrades here shortly to prep for that place.
I am gonna take in advice from others and see what I can learn. You never stop learning but one day you become the teacher... even then you can learn from your students or your own mistakes.

I was just watching a bunch of youtube videos the other day of it! Looks pretty gnarly, I wonder if it would be doable with 32's and a 2'' lift. A lot of the guys in the videos seem to be running 33-35's.

I have done Whipsaw once so far, 2 summers ago. Its a pretty cool area and Im sure a group of us will do it this summer.

You would need to be careful but 32's with a 2" lift would probably be ok. there are lots of routes that go around the hard stuff, so there are options.
When I was there I was on 32's with 3" lift and did pretty good. I wish I had my sway bar off then though...I don't have my sway bar anymore.

I am now 3" with 33s and different rear suspension and love my set up now.

Broke trail from chute lake rd to the kvr yesterday.... snows melting fast but still a good time up there. I'd say it's 2 feet deep or just over.

Reminder to people that the Kelowna meet is happening Saturday March 19 between 10am and 2 pm at Knox mountain second parking lot (access to pauls tomb)
This is a basic meet and me and a couple of the other guys are going to be doing a basic trip up grouse ( i have never been where they want to go) to see what is happening up there. People are welcome to come see where it is and what is up there but I have no guarantee as to what we will find.

When you say chute lake to kvr... is that on the kelowna side of the lake? Do you think a quad would be ok on that road if I was to take it up there?

I have decided to not sleep after my graveyard shift. I'll be there around 10:00. I am unsure where the second parking lot is located.

Is it at the end of Poplar Point Dr?

Nope, head into the parking lot at the base of the park, then follow the road up the mountain. The road levels off and there is a lookout and parking area up there before the road continues higher. This is the second parking lot.

I could be wrong but my guess is there is a parking lot at the bottom on knox, then if you drive up around a corner or 2 I think there is another parking area by a look out. That was were I was planning to go. If that is not right someone please correct me. Im planning to be there around 11ish

I came on to double check things and saw someone already added the best directional link I could have found.... well done good sir.. well done.

By the way. I might have said this before but it sounds like some of the guys are gonna be going up grouse mountain after. I understand those who dont want to come but I thought i would throw this out there just to say it could happen. When the meet is over we will be going and it should be driveable with basic vehicles from what i have heard. I cannot guarantee anything for road conditions as I have not been there before.

Now... should i get us coffee from timmies? I could get a 40 spot to be friendly... what do you guys think? coffee and donuts at the white tacoma?
