found a local shop that can recharge aftermarket shocks with 150psi + Nitrogen.
    http://www.kelownatruckworks.com/

    - rebuilt my emulsion type 2" Walker Evans shocks, fresh seals, new oil, just needed a place to add the Nitrogen in, at a specified pressure.
both shocks recharged for less than $30 to 160psig.
    - in the meantime drive around town with no shocks. LOL, a little bouncy crossing the bridge.

    Hey Guys,

Well, I am thinking of ... unmodifying my truck a bit.

Removing the front lift, finding a stock front bumper and selling the arb front bumper. I need new tires, so I'll be getting some 32" possibly if theyll fit.

That's it really. Reason for doing it? Can't afford it anymore, both the money and I don't have the time with two kids and a full time life. 33's, heavy ass truck, replacing components constantly due to the lift.

Does anyone have a silver 2nd gen front bumper laying around?

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Old thread. I don’t see any updates since 2020, but anyone in Kelowna area know a good shop for installing the ECGS bushing to replace my driver side CV axle needle bearing?

My OEM bearing shot again, this will be the third one put in since new. Retired, and my truck is used primarily off road. Pushing 30,000 off road KMs.

I have the ECGS bushing and talking to a local shop that is not familiar with that job, but seem otherwise fairly knowledgable.

Adventure Trucks was going to do it, but they had that recent tragedy where their owner Jeremy died.

Just looking for other options in case there are some Tacoma experts in the area I don’t know about.

Can’t do it myself, a seriously messed up back from too many workplace injuries.

Try RH Wheel and Brake. They are great with Tacomas and aftermarket drive train stuff.

    Jeremy passed?! That’s very sad.

I’ve moved, so I’m not sure who is around for that type of work.

It was a murder. Story here. No other details from the police.

My wife and I were driving home that day past his shop when dozens of police cars and SWAT and such were lining up outside. We were heading to Bonanza Meats which is right next to his shop but all the streets were shut down.
