    lol

you guys realized this doesn't include shipping costs or any duties/taxes right? You are going to double or even triple your cost for a door to door rate...also, it's listed as steel. :derp:

    lol

If you jabronies can get it organized I will consult you on shipping.

You're saying that instead of $10 it might be $20 or $30! Whooaaahhhh.....might need to rethink at that price point.

    Lol ok.

I’d suggest supporting a TW vendor (and American jobs) if you want a steel skid plate.

You guys have clearly never ordered anything from alibaba and you are in for a rude awakening if you think you’re getting a steel skid plate for $10 or even $30 shipped to your door.

Oh, you thought I was serious? Glad you caught up. LOL Thank you, but I don't need luck. I have a foreign skid that I'm going to stick with.

There's a shipping calculator on the website. For 10 plates you need to know how heavy they are, where they're coming from (there's a list of ports), and the volume they'd take up in the container. Know this means the shipment is going to 1 address. When I used the calculator for an estimated 10 plates (assumed 15 lbs per plate as they look thin) to my area code the shipping was $400 USD. Then calculate prices to ship (individually) to each person on the list. I'd be down to pay $30 for a plate, but I don't think the shipping would make it feasible unless you got like 100 orders and split shipping amongst everyone.

Their advertised items are misleading even b2b in bulk. I’ve tried to order through my own business and you can never get an honest answer on your cost and it never matches their advertised price.

Also, they’re STILL a 3rd world county with no regulations on anything, so buy at your own risk.

Not sure. I guess step 1 would be to figure out who would be in charge of shipping each individual plate to the people on the list -- that's a big task. They'd also have to get a shipping quote for each individual ahead of time, or just an average and charge everyone up front for shipping to their final destination.

To get a decent starting price you'd also have to figure out how many orders you want to cap it at so you can get an accurate quote on shipping from China and build it into the initial price as well. Reason being is the more you buy the heavier the shipment, so your shipping cost can go up super quick if the pre-order gets popular. Best to put a cap on it. Not sure if there's customs costs, but also something to consider (unless Alibaba builds that into their shipping quote).

I don't realistically think there is anyone who will take on the task of shipping out 100+ skids. I know I would never have time to take on such a monumental task. :angrygirl:
So... when is that RCI group buy going to go???
