I am looking at putting a 3" suspension lift on my 2011 4x4 Tacoma. Is there anyone out there that has lifted a 2011 or newer Tacoma. I am getting conflicting advise from the 4x4 shops in my area. One shop tells me a 3" is no problem another shop tells me not to go over 2 1/2" or I won't be able to align it. I have even called the different manufactures ready lift states the 2011 2012 tacomas front end geometry has Ben changed and a 3" lift would require new after market upper control arms. Rough country says that's not true they have not had any issues with alignment with their 3" suspension lift. I would like to here from anyone out there with the model years 2011 and 2012.

i use to run without UCA's. However, after adding them the truck helps handling a lot!

You will have shitty handling at over 2.5" of lift and no UCA. With 33" tires and new UCA you will need a cab mount chop and caster over 3.0 which is over Toyora max caster spec to get the wheel to fit without rubbing... plus lots of trimming and hammering.
