All the Az threads are old! Anyone getting out there weekly? Looking for like minded people to run the table with. Thanks for checking!

We did 1,500 miles thru Arizona in October in our Minnie Winnie. What a great place to travel! We were in a caravan with neighbors towing travel trailers. 1st stop outside of Yuma, then to Tombstone,
Zane Grey RV Park (Lightening strike in camp as I was walking in camp-knocked out the water pump), then to Sedona (rained for 1 hours), last stop Parker Dam...never seen so many swarming bugs!
Then home to San Diego. The freeways around Pheonix were great, well laid out with excellent signage. No trash, no graffiti. Looking forward to going back. Only disappointment is I didn't find any ammo stores to stock up!

All AZ threads are definitely not old, you're just looking at the wrong threads. Stop into the BS thread or Weekly Meets thread that are stickied at the top. The AZ forum is quite active.

Agreed. I'm in the extreme west valley and go out once in a while. Not sure what area in the valley you're in.

BTW: I went into one of the threads in the AZ forum and my post was captured, edited into limerick, and then re-posted! Who does this? WTF? Moderator?

Lockhart Basin was great, there are some challenging spots along the way but nothing real difficult, we took our time in a few spots to work through and there are plenty of rocks around if you need to gain a little clearance to get through. I recommend the trail, its was my second time and the group loved it. Mind you, we did the Top of the World trail the following day which made anything on Lockhart look simple. But back to Lockhart, 33's and a rear locker and you will be fine. We drove the trail from south to north. I highly recommend it.

When you were there, what did this section look like? It's the top of the climb, just before you make that hairpin turn.

@Sapnjack No wonder why the reports change person by person!

It is recognizable, but definitely more filled in and traversable.

    Thanks for the photo @rwinkster

That is so interesting. I guess its the luck of the draw on the changing trail conditions/rock placements. The challenge kept coming around every turn on the decent section of the Top of the World loop.
