Anyone own this tonneau cover? Does it fit with the stock railing system?

Looking for something hard and low profile also if anyone has an recommendations!

I have the Lomax on my 19 also and like it a lot. IMO it's the best looking cover out there. I paid about the same as the cover in the link also.

 

I also have a Lomax on my 2020 - installs easily and looks great...and @GotExhaust has a great price.

 

I have the Bakflip which fits fine but it is much heavier than I expected. The thing is so solid you can walk and dance on it but that sturdy structure adds to the weight. Flipping the panels takes effort...for a Boomer with a sore shoulder. I am 6'2" which makes it somewhat easier but if you are of shorter stature and your truck happens to have a lift, the weight may be an issue even if you are younger....check it out before you hit that 'order' button.

 

Depending on where you're located I have an MX4 I'm no longer using. It has the brackets that relocate the bed rails two inches lower, so they're still useable.

Install can be done with one person, it's decently light weight. It also is unopenable if the tailgate is locked.

 

Where you located? Of course OP has dibs but you're more than likely far away from NM

I'd also look at the UnderCover Ultra Flex Tonneau Cover. While not waterproof (are any of them really?) it has a great low profile and I've been happy with it. However, you do lose access to the side rails which in I didn't know in advance.

 

The LOMAX has been the best seller for Tacoma's and really for all trucks by FAR!!! I have a Lomax on my personal truck. We highly recommend it as its low profile, durable, and does a good job at keeping the bed dry.

The Bakflip G2 gives access to the bed rails; they can be re-mounted after the install of the cover. I'd send you a photo if I knew how to upload it.

 

Yes there are various models all available to work with factory cargo tracks. The older Bak Flips were heavier than the new ones are. The newest on the market from Extang is Xceed, this one has less chance of leaking than some of the others. The Bak F1 is the most dent resistant if nasty hail storms are a concern.

 

With the Lomax I think if it dents the rest of the truck is in trouble the aluminum sheets will not dent easily.
