Anyone planning on attending the Carolina Meet in April 08...

I'll be there with atleast a tacoma probably two...big site sounds good to me any way we can also get a address for those of us making a rather long venture?

I lean toward "definate attending status." I'll click on the poll once I can come up with a definate answer. But I need to sit down and look at a calaender in January and firm up all my vacation plans for the year to make sure.

jhodge, do you know or could you check into if this one big site will accomidate a 21 foot travel trailer or if I will need to rough it in a tent?

and i WILL be doing everything i can to make it down there to the meet, i'll get there if i have to hitchhike with other rednecks...looks good tho, i'll be there unless something medical or a death comes up

 

i'll chip in for the big site, i'd rather be around everyone than off wandering and being violated ya know...once the beer gets flowing, i'll get dumber and dumber by the hour

I just found out that our Carolina Meet is the same weekend as Carolina Cup! Oh well, looks like i wont be going to Cup this year. There are gonna be some people pissed off at me.....

Yeah, I want to, but I got 2 young kids that don't like getting tossed around while wheeling, my wife and I both work and would need to miss some work to make that long ass drive.........we'll just have to see how things are going closer to meet time.

Anyone care to enlighten the rest of us about this bit of Carolina "culture"? When I think of Carolina Cup, the first thing that comes to mind is a moonshine drinkin' contest. Or would that be the Carolina Jug? Is it perhaps made more difficult and embarrassing by using a piece of baseball safety equipment? Or Dixie Cups (the south shall rise again!)?
