Anyone planning on attending the Carolina Meet in April 08...

Its a big horse race, i think the biggest in SC but dont quote me on that. its basically a big drunk fest. Some people watch the horses but its really just a huge tailgate. You have to dress up really nice. lots of rich people there. When i mean rich i mean rich. 50 ft tents with servents in full Tux's serving everything on silver platters. It's pretty fun. I'm really close with a group of girls i met in Clemson. I call them 1101 (their apt number) and we meet there every year.

I'll have to check up on that. I was told by my friends it was april but if not thats great!

yes i do, and it doesn't look like i cracked the block when the radiator blew up but i'm not totally sure just yet, i keep smelling coolant and i don't see it leaking so it might just be because i spilled some when i filled the new radiator up

 

ATTENTION those that are attending the NC meet, do any of you need an OEM bed mat for a longbed?? i have mine sitting in my garage going to waste, somebody must need one

Is this meet going to be something that you have to be at everyday or can you just show up early one day and leave later that night???

 

yeah man....its basically gonna be a weekend event. we will meet there friday night, camp, and then ride and fish on saturday. no one has to camp though. alot of us are going to because of the drive to uwharrie, and so we can kick back and have some cold beers!!

but to answer your question, no,you dont have to be there the whole time. if you wanna come in saturday morning, and leave saturday evening, feel free.

i guess after jhodge gets some more info on the site and all, we will find out about getting day passes for riding the trails and for fishing too(i think you gotta have a pass to fish....not sure yet). you have to get the day passes at a little store on the way in to uwharrie i think.
