I'm thinking about doing plasti dip to my 2021 stock grill, to black it out further.
Has anyone done this, and can show how it turned out?
I've seen a bunch of older style grills done, but not the newest.

    Thanks!

E5A1E8B2-B8B4-4408-BC26-0BB037689F34.jpgI plasti dipped mine and I honestly didn’t get good results. I have several friends that have plasti dipped emblems, grilles, and even wheels. All of them swore by it. I took EVERY precaution that I could. I cleaned it extremely well, gave it the 30 mins (or whatever it calls for between coats), as well as let it cure for the 4hrs PER COAT that is calls for... I could be off with those numbers. It’s been a while since I did it, but whatever it suggests is what I did. I did 5 coats. I knew being up front it would be catching a lot of bugs and therefore I’d be scrubbing it a lot during washes. It didn’t last long at all and it started coming off. Not bad mouthing the product or anything... just didn’t have good luck with it. E4A2436F-EC34-462B-BA22-BAB20A9D1102.jpg
