Anyone play Clash of Clans?

Thats great you finally made the jump!

Besides walls, I have one more xbow I am saving for then have everything defense wise maxed at TH9 - then its the hero grind again. Gotta get them both to level 20 before I do the TH10. I am not really going to worry about walls right now either. With the earthquake spell, jumps, and max wall breakers, it seems to make no difference - just a visual deterrence.

The last message from the developers at Supercell said they are really working on the loot retainage and I think they are going to make the available loot a smaller percentage? If so, I wouldn't mind a 100% on me every now and again.

 

I wanted to stay at TH9 longer but you can't defend an attack from a max TH9 even if you are a max TH9. I wanted to get both heros to lvl 20 and max walls but that's not happening. I have my king to lvl 20 and queen at 18, research is completely done, defenses are all maxed and I have almost half of my walls to lvl 10. TH10 will be complete in a day.

If they are going to keep the update the same, they should lower the loot percent available and raise the loot bonuses. That would encourage people to actually want to chase trophies and make it possible to hold loot.

 

Wish i woulda thought of that i had 2900 gems when it first started and i dont really raid either

 

yea I stopped raiding about a year ago haha. ive maybe done two raids since I stopped. now I just upgrade walls when I get the chance and upgrade a dark troop when I get too much dark elixir. I really only play boom beach actively now. although my clan is kicking ass in wars lately, I just donate what they want.

As mentioned in our latest posts, we’re currently working on an update that we intend to roll out as soon as possible. In the meantime here is a preview of what’s coming:

Introducing the new Star Bonus! Win five stars in Multiplayer attacks in order to win a daily resource bonus!

Housed in your Clan Castle, the Treasury is the safest place to store resources. Your daily Star Bonus and War Loot Bonus are automatically stored in the Treasury for safeguarding and only a very small percentage can be stolen.

Last but not least, we’ll introduce the Loot Cart. After your village has been attacked, a percentage of the stolen resources will be added to a Loot Cart in your Village. Once you collect the resources from the Loot Cart, these will be transferred to your Treasury for safeguarding.

Besides these new features, the update will also include a few bug fixes and battle balancing tweaks.

We’ll provide more details soon, stay tuned!

All the update suck, they just looking for a way try to get you to buy gems

 

Oh I agree - I think this update from the sounds of it though will benefit us casual players who attack 2-3 times per day. Hopefully it helps us regain some loot and stay loaded enough to keep up with upgrades.

 

Let's face it the huge update come out every few months how can we catch it up? The only way to catch up is spend gems for the time

 

for you guys in the tacomaworld clan, how has the war streak been going? has the activeness been drying up since the update or are people still on just as much as before?

 

Come back and bring your trader wife. We have been losing a lot of wars and only war with 15-20 people.

 

My phone will not install the new update, and it won't let me play without updating! It now says that my device is incompatible.

 

well that sucks! how old is your phone?!

 

Not even a year old, it's an LG 90 that I bought in April or May of last year. And it says it has no system or software updates, so I think I'm SOL...

 

damn id send supercell an email to see what the deal is. it may be something wrong with the update. im sure youre not the only one with problems

 

did you try deleting the game and download it again?

 

Did you try rebooting the phone?

 

I sent them an email regarding the issue, have not heard back yet, but then again, that was only a couple hours ago.
I did a little research, and in the past, when people posted about having the same problem, Supercell told them that the problem is with their device, and that they can't do anything about it. But I just saw this article here, that's saying a ton of android users are having this issue. The clearing cached data thing did not work for me, but it worked for some people. People that uninstalled and tried to reinstall say it's not even showing up in the Playstore now.
