It's seems like early ABS systems were pretty crappy. I'm glad my 02 doesn't have it.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. The other day while wheeling in the desert I decided to pull the ABS1 and 2 fuses. Bunch of lights came on and I lost my breaks completely... Luckily i was on flat ground so I rolled to a stop. Anyone have the same experience? 2014 TRD OR mt.

    thanks

My abs doesnt work either. Has anyone pulled the whole pump/ecu out? Do they make a kit or something to connect the brake lines after it’s removed?

I did a little test in the parking lot. Pulled both abs2 abs 1 lost most breaking power but still came to a stop just no power breaks. Put the 50amp back 30amp out turned the abs off but power breaks are working. I wouldn't pull the 50amp one in a second gen but correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

Remove the cluster and twist the bulb out. All that’s to it.
