Anyone know if an OR with stock wheels and suspension will rub with 1.25" or 1.5" spacer? Tires are currently the stock 265/70/r16 but eventually want to get 265/75/r16.

Just in case this benefits anyone else - I ran 1.25" Spidertrax spacers on 265/60R18 with the OEM rims at 16mm offset. Gave me a -13.75 mm offset with spacers no issues for 2 years.

Had a 2 inch lift installed with 285/70R17 tires and 0 offset rims. Shop left the spacers on by mistake - Gave me a -31.75 offset. Looked awesome, but rubbing was real bad. Would have needed a CMC.

it shouldn’t rub if it’s stock. Lift doesn’t do much for preventing rubbing as much as I thought. Learned the hard way.

I bought my 2020 Tacoma TRD OR 2WD DCSB a couple months ago and it came with brand new 285/75R16 TOYO open country AT III’s on stock suspension with no spacers. I drove up to see Dustin from FN Wheels last Saturday, in Corona, CA. and he pointed out where my tires were rubbing on the uca’s at full articulation. I was there to pick up some 16x8 FX Pro wheels 0mm offset in matte black with the Gorilla black, spline drive, conical seat, extended thread lug nuts.
The FN wheels will push it out about 1.75” and away from the uca but then will probably rub the very bottom plastic wall of the wheel well. This video shows one way to deal with it to keep it from rubbing though I’ve seen a couple videos with different ways of dealing with this issue. In this video, they’re installing the KO2’s which has a more aggressive tread then the TOYO’s so I may not have to cut or move the exhaust hanger bracket for the spare. I get them installed this Friday so I’ll have a better idea which route to take when it’s done. If anyone has any advice for me that you think would help, I’d appreciate the advice ahead of time. Thanks!

Did anyone run into the spacer's lug nuts not fully engaging the threads on the stock lug bolts? There are about three threads not engaged on each lug nut after torquing them to spec. If you did, what did you do to resolve this? Or do you just run it this way?

The spacers I ordered had an option for a deeper lug that I went with to ensure I had more threads engaged, I personally would not feel secure running them as you have pictured.

Just wanted to post pics of the FN Fx Pro matte black 16x8 wheels that I drove up and picked up from Dustin at FN Wheels in Corona, CA. I bought my 2020 Tacoma TRD OR 2WD DCSB a couple months ago and it came with brand new 285/75R16 TOYO open country AT III’s on stock suspension with no spacers. The wheels would rub on the uca’s at full articulation. These FN wheels pushed them out about 1.75” so I did what they did on the YouTube video I posted above and trimmed a little bit of the plastic on the bottom of the wheel well/fender. They came out well and I’m really happy with them.
