I was shopping when few 2015'seconds were left...have wanted a white truck my whole life. Found a Super White about 4hrs away, otherwise MGM was a close 2nd for sure.

Not many folks will post that they regret their color (or the truck for that matter). Buyer's ego....you see it in all of the overly defensive responses to critical posts regarding the 3rd gen

Dents in roof from poorly loaded canoe. Broken side mirror from blown transfer truck tire. Scuffed up front bumper from thinking I was still in a corolla. Graham cracker embedded upholstery from a crazy kid.
Luckily, the opposite syndrome is much more rare. In fact I can't think of anyone who visits every single thread to post their dissatisfaction with the truck...

You don't like the supplied OR wheels? I think they look good with Inferno and the black flares.

I need to make a decision this week, so that I can get my 6MT OR by end of June.

Choices are Inferno vs Quick Sand. I feel whichever I choose I might regret, as I like both so much :(

I think QS looks most stunning on the 4Runner TRD Pro. But looks great on the Tacoma, especially with the black accents , black roof rack. Black TRD wheels.

Thats been my life for the last week. I ordered Quicksand, then called and changed to Inferno. For me Quicksand is nice because it wont show dirt and scratches much, so it will also need to be washed less. Quicksand in person is also kind of boring, especially in direct light where it becomes sort of an eggshell color.

Inferno color is just so interesting in person. Its red, its orange, its metallic, its gloss. It varies so much by the angle and light. It also seems like it will be easy to take care of compared to the other red, which is darker. I've wanted a red truck for a while too. So the choice wasnt easy but, I feel its the right one.

Basically one color is easy and nice, the other is exciting and fun.

Well my other cars are krypton green, chili red , and yellow

    So I like vivid colors

Lime green Lambo is my all one favorite color

When I was ready to order my 2016 Taco, I was 100% sure it was inferno, even though it isn't bright enough for me

But I really liked the QS, as I saw that on land cruiser all over Dubai and Abu Dhabi, it looks so purposeful

I chose silver and still no regrets. Doesn't show the scratches as much from bushwacking trails like black paint would. Truck stays cooler in the summer. Contrasts great with anything black on your truck like tires, rims, roof racks, offroad bumpers, sliders, etc. Shows door dings less than black. Clearcoat will last longer and not flake off from sun bake like a darker color or black being the worst. Didn't want black or white so went with what's in between.

My last Taco (gen 2) was Silver so I thought that I'd make a change. Ooops only Silver TRD OR (gen3) on the lot met my list of gotta haves. So came home with the Silver. The big Pro is that my wife just thought I washed my 2011 instead of buying a new 2016. The big Con is that she found out!!!

Other Pros are that silver sort of melts into the background on the road so hopfully less tickets. Also I don't have to buy a new tube of touchup paint.

Quicksand is awesome! I was going to order the dark gray, I always liked that color but when I saw a quicksand double cab on the lot, I changed my mind. There is no metal flake which I like, and I knew I would get sick of looking at inferno after a few years even though I liked that color too. Quicksand hides pollen and light dirt really well compared to black or white paint. Plus the color kinda has a desert camo appeal if you like that sort of color. No regrets in my color choice!

I love my BRM, but similar to black, it looks awesome after a fresh wash but it's hard to keep looking clean and shows scratches very easily. That said, I rarely see any other BRM's out on the road so it's nice having a more unique color. Most Taco's I see on a daily basis are black, white and silver. All of them look great, but it's nice having a color that isn't as common.

Bought Super White but wish I had gone with Magnetic Gray. White just looks like a work truck to me. That being said the truck is good so no trading in on my truck!

Agree . Pearl white on the Lexus looks great. LFA looks great in white too.

But white Tacoma and tundra often look like SR work truck versions, unless you modify them nicely

White is way to go in AZ. Have owned many colors. It shows the least dust dings swirls or scratches. It's reflective and stays cool. I had pearl white tricoat on Denali. Guy hit it in parking lot. Paint on Truck was never the same even after taking to top rated body shop. Paint guys said tricoat paints are the worst for repair

I only regretted my SSM when I saw all the great looking inferno's. It was what I wanted to order at first but I really don't care for the stock inferno's and the chrome. I didn't know if I'd have the funds to mod it the way I wanted so I went SSM. Well it turns out I had some spare cash and I'm really liking my new SSM a lot more then my '14 SSM so now I'm not regretting my regrets :)

All I need now is a grill, and I haven't decided where I'm going with that yet, then I'll be done for a while with the possibility of a lift down the road. BTW, the badges have been blacked out since I took this picture.IMG_20160507_111336a.jpg IMG_20160507_111452a.jpg IMG_20160514_102904.jpg IMG_20160518_120003a.jpg

But you still felt compelled to make a post in this first world problem thread about it. Are there any other topics on TW that take priority over your pressing issues that keep you awake at night that are worthwhile? Didn't think so.

By the way, no regrets on white, but I wouldn't mind quicksand.
