Anyone regret the color they chose?

Dents in roof from poorly loaded canoe. Broken side mirror from blown transfer truck tire. Scuffed up front bumper from thinking I was still in a corolla. Graham cracker embedded upholstery from a crazy kid.
I have a MGM and I'm happy with it. I also really like the red. I almost bought a black TRD OR on the lot. It looked tough when it was clean and polished, but my last car was black and I'm all blacked out.

I kind of regret going with a black truck. White would have did a better job of hiding scratches that are common with Toyota's crappy paint jobs.

Also, before I get accused of anything...'black trucks matter'.

I LOVE my BIP (Blazing Inferno Pearl). I would also have been happy with BBP, which was a very close second choice. I couldn't be happier with the Inferno though.

Think Toyota just refers to it as inferno at least on their site/build page, though it does have a pearl.

As you know most dealers don't have much of a selection and if they do trim levels are wrong, 4x2 vs 4x4 etc. My previous truck was white so this time I thought I wanted something different. I ended up with that magnetic grey metallic color, but to be honest I would have preferred Silver Sky metallic or probably white again. I think any of the metallic colors are harder to do paint touch ups too. Just my two cents

Inferno, nah ...but it's a cop magnet. Quicksand would be better, but I would end up losing it in the desert here.

I have MGM, definitely NOT my first choice....

I got what they had if I did not want to wait 8 weeks or longer...
MY MGM had the options I wanted, TRDOR DCSB w/ Tow Package, Raptor(give or take on this, would rather have aftermarket bolt on sliders), tinted, WeatherTechs, - no sunroof, no heated seats, no dual climate, no cross traffic, no JBL , no Tonneau. So to sum it up the truck although MGM had what I needed.

This is how it would break down, understanding I am a dual citizen of Arizona and Arkansas depending on the weather, special events, vacations, family time, ....etc.. My time varies but nowadays I seem to spend most of my time in Arkansas with Beaver Lake as my backyard, Arizona traffic just sucks, and the winter inversion layer stinks...but I do love the desert and Arizona as well as the Ozarks, throw family in that mix and what a dilemna.

    So here it is -

    - If I had a daily commute in Arizona, which I do not anymore, but it don't matter its Arizona, I would have definitely waited for WHITE or SILVER with my back pocket option of Quick Sand...love that for the dirt...

    - In Arkansas if I had my choice...Black, Blue or my back pocket choice of Inferno....

MGM would be my last choice...but I love the truck, so I turn a blind eye to speak, hey and its not that bad really...

Love the Barcelona Red. I was expecting it to be darker but when I pulled up I was loving it! Smile every time I look at it.16 Tacoma.jpg 16 Tacoma.jpg

Yes after seeing a Barcelona Red I wished I would not have chose black. I have something to look forward to in a couple years. :) Maybe they will get the V6 lined out by then.

Too each there own but not a fan of the old man red, too dark in my opinion. Though sometimes I think my white is boring. Id do quicksand, silver sky or mgm for the win.

I resemble that remark. 13 months ago I came close to ordering a Redhot 2015 chevy colorado. Instead I bought a Silver Ice colored one. My next Tacoma will be Barcelona Red.

Your old man's truck was... "Silver Streak Mica".... same as my 2006... fantastic colour... never looked dirty... But I had it for 10 yrs and needed a change.... mid life crisis I guess.... I'm totally in love with the Inferno..!!

I've mostly had black or white trucks in the past, but the Barcelona red just looked great and had the options I was looking for this time around. I also love that it's a bit of a rare color around here.

I actually started out looking for MGM or Silver - then started focusing on getting a Limited and decided that white was the best choice due to the brown interior, something about the silver and MGM colors make me think the interior should be gray... With that said when I went to the lot to get the limited I ended up opting for the Sport due to being turned off by the chrome mirrors, handles etc. but had already set myself on getting a white one. Now I'm glad I didn't go with any other color. That on top of a homelink mirror, black Clazzio covers and the oem audio plus kit and I feel like I have the limited features with the better look of the sport!
