I went with MGM because I got tired of the "black vehicle struggle". I've had many black vehicles and my last Tacoma was black.I hear a lot of people complaining about how hard it is to keep MGM clean. My MGM taco stays way cleaner looking between washes than any black vehicle ever did.

I went in after white (put your hand on a black one in the summer & a white one and tell me how cool the white one is) but ended up with gray. Sorry kind of - with wax on the gray, if it's out in the rain the water beads up on it. When the water beads start to dry the beads get air borne dirt in them and the truck dries with small circular dirt "dots" all over it. At first I thought I got into some sprayed highway oil dots some place but it turned out as I just described - dirt dots.

I get more compliments on my Inferno Tacoma than I can count. My girlfriend was always making fun of me when I came home telling her about people point, and stopping me in stores asking me what it was, etc. But then she went out with me a few times after I picked it up and she was like "I cannot believe it gets that many compliments". From all different types of people. I'm quite happy. It matches my Ducati (Tangerine Red), also is the color of my Alma mater (Orange and Black). :D

After seeing some nicely done inferno's I love the color, and it's arguably the best looking choice on this truck. My MGM is pretty tough to keep clean, but if I had to do it again I would choose the same. I looked at almost every single color in person and slate/charcoal/shark/dark grey has always been my favorite color on vehicles and I've always wanted a car or truck in this color. I love it even though it's tough to keep clean. 10/10 would buy again.

I got inferno. It's great and there's very few other vehicles out there anywhere close to that color which I really like. As a bonus it makes it very easy to find where you parked.

My mgm stays super dirty all the time, shows scratches pretty bad too. I really really wanted quicksand but settled for the mgm. I like it but if I did it again I would have just ordered the truck and got quicksand

I think I'd go for the metallic grey if i had the chance to do it again, I've already got the swirls. I'm very happy with the AC OR with tech pack though, its such a fun truck!

Searching for my 2016 TRD Sport
This thread is describing my struggle right now. I want a TRD Sport 2x4. I prefer MGM but I can get black for about $2000 cheaper. Just don't know if its a $2000 I'm going to regret not paying if I stick to black. Not many non-"ragrets" for black here. The struggle is real people.

I turned my nose at the inferno until I test drove one (it was the only TRD sport available at the time) and pretty much did a 180. The interior is great and the color does look much better in person than in a picture. Just saying. I still want MGM, but had pretty much settled on black due to savings. Now I'm reconsidering. Blah.

Got the silver because it was the only one on the lot, was actually already sold, but because it was going to another dealer, they sold it to me instead, everyone knows how fast they were/are selling, I wanted the MGM, but they told me just look at it then decide, never looked back, my first gen that I drove for 15 years was also silver, guess I'm a silver man:)

I was torn between MGM and black due to price as well. At the end of the day I decided since I was spending ~$35k on a truck I wanted, I would regret it if I made compromises. I waited until I found a good deal on an MGM though. It just looks so damn good.

Sometimes I regret not buying mgm but at the end of the day I just accept that every vehicle I buy is black. Looks good after I wash it every night..

Can't go wrong with silver. My f150 is 6 years old and still looks new. Light scratches and dirt are hidden beautifully.

Black was my second choice for a reason, it looks amazing when it's clean. It's pretty hard to find a color that looks better on a clean vehicle than black.
