This here is why I got a pro. I never buy the top trim model and would always “build” my spec. In the end it costs more, creates headaches and the vehicles are never worth what you put in. The pro might not have the best lift, but all the features add up to a nice vehicle.

I have no regrets. 888’s and Dakar’s, I love how it looks, and rides great!

New suspension alone is worth a small lift imho

Same reason probably 50% of the people on here do lifts...dude thought it looked cool.

One person on here has at least a dozen extra light on the front of his truck, wondered if he drove thru black holes or something...guess he thinks it's cool.

    3&1 lift, tire,wheels, bakflip G2. Front Cam,A/C,rock leds,internal leds.
pulling a small travel trailer or boat will be MPG=10 ish or less if your really moving , This is the same I had in
a F150 with twin turbo 6cyl with near same enging spec. Its also about right for my 2006 tacoma , Lift and big tires might
not help you a bunch but its going to be minimal.

It’s been a good lift, I have no complaints about ride quality or anything. It’s done well for on the few wheeling trips I’ve been on. I also did OME medium heavy leaf packs in the back. A little more flex and weight carrying capacity.

I used 2018 TRD Pro leaf springs on 2014. Check out Vilmont Market on instagram, you can get a full TRD PRO suspension set up on there for relativly cheap from someone who has upgraded their suspension.

Exactly my sentiments on the subject of lifting Tacoma’s higher than stock. Toyota invested a lot of development time into these vehicles, especially the chassis and suspension. I took my showroom stock TRD Pro off-road about a 2-months ago and there wasn’t one situation it couldn’t handle.

I think the Pro model is awesome and well worth the premium. The incredible resale value doesn’t hurt either.

I did a spacer and block setup; lift-tech I believe was the brand and also did a rough country speedo re-calibrator...very happy with how it all came out

It’s also getting very hard to lift with all the technology in these new trucks. More than just ride quality is now at play - lots of warranty concerns.

It is a pain in the nuts. There will be some celebratory beers drank on the day mine runs out.
