OK so you started with 700lb coils for added weight i assume.. I’m thinking of using the standard fox 13” 600lb coils and clearing the same tires with no extra gear up front. Just don’t want to have too much preload.. I’m just trying to figure this out. I’m getting conflicting info from SDHQ and accutune..

SDHQ says 700lb coil is necessary. I’d have too much preload on the 600lb

Accutune said that I’d be fine with the 600lb and the preload should be fine...

Just don’t want to put this all together on a brand new 19’ TRDOR and run into issues

If it was me I would do the 700lb springs and have very little preload. Then if you add more front weight you have all you need with 700lb coils. I was running 650lb coils and it rubbed .

Ok thanks for the response. 650lb coils before you added any weight?? Or with it? And how is the ride between the two??

I have Kings but similar set up. 700 lb coils with 3 threads showing (so little to no preload), 285/75/17 Cooper AT3 XLTs. Super happy with it. I have aluminum skids, steel sliders and a roof rack, plans for bumpers eventually. With what I’ve got it all feels great on and off road and it’s great to know I can easily go up when the time comes.

650 with no weight was really good, but I add winch ,bumper, steel skids plates. Started to get rubbing offroad, bumped up to 700lb almost eliminated all rubbing i have some rub offroad turning in the bumps. CMC will fix that.

Thanks! Yeah I really liked the look of my 265/75/16 until I installed the lift.. way too small..and I wanted the same look/sidewall-to-wheel ratio, so this size was perfect. Haven’t noticed any loss in power or anything either. Looks mean from the front too, can’t wait for front bumper to get more tire showing

Nice! Cement is awesome, and yep V6 AT but with OVTune. I’d definitely recommend saving up a bit extra to get tuned, I like driving my truck a ton more with it done.
Edit: forgot to add earlier.. I did not do a CB or diff drop, haven’t had any vibrations or anything after 5k miles

No diff drop , no carrier bearing drop. With the lift my current lift it is 2.75". No issues with diff or carrier bearing ! Loving my Icon setup!

No they weren't out yet when I did my lift, I have the Deaver U402's. Don't have issues with them.

Great looking truck! I am looking to go up to a bigger tire. Could you tell me the length of your front coilovers from top bolt to bottom bolt. I want to see how much mine needs to go up. I feel mine does not sit near as tall as yours does. Thanks
