I'd like to see some pics if anyone is using them. They seem to be popular on the 2nd, 3rd gen, and FJ Cruisers and 5th gen 4Runners. Curious how they look on a 1st gen. Please post if you have them with wheel and b/s too.

Yes, You will need to tub the cab (I did) or at least beat it into submission to clear the tires. @Star-Lord I think runs them too.

I have Ray 10's with Toyo MT 285/75/17 on my first gen. And the AT2 on my 5th gen along with Falken AT3W on my GX470 all the same size tire. The SUV's have Icon wheels with the same specs as the SCS's.

Not worried about clearance as we do SAS conversions. Any pics?

Yep, definitely requires a bit of surgery if you're gonna stay IFS.

If your SASing why are you looking for pics of IFS trucks on 34's? You can fit up to a 40 if you want to cut and move the axle fwd.

It's just my shop truck. Thought I'd look for some inspiration and try and decide if I'm going 255/85R16s or 275/75R17s. This truck sees a bunch of highway miles so we won't be doing SAS on it anytime soon. This one is the trail truck on 37s.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Over 70,000 road miles on my supercharged 3.4 SAS on 37's and the trucks gets better fuel economy then IFS trucks.

Not until more people are less cheap I'm not designing anything without the interest! the thread was started in January and still only have 21 people there is not enough interest on any 1st gen parts after the first launch of the product. If it ever happens it will most likely be the only 30 we sell then it will get discontinued just like most of the other 1st gen parts.

I don't know, those wheels have a pretty deep tuck right where the hub face and lug nuts sit. I could believe -12 out of that offset. The spokes definitely make it look like a positive offset, but they're much further out than the hub itself looks to be.

I'm waiting 'til #29 signs on, I figure it'll be after Christmas when we're all broke. That's how it usually happens, right? I've mentioned it to a couple of customers too. Neither are on TW, so they probably have the cash in hand.

Nice! Wheel spacers or no? That's probably the tire I'll use if I go with this size.

    NOPE

Stock length lower, Camburg UCA. Barely rubs the frame at lock.

FYI those are the loudest tires I run in that size.

I sell tires and yeah, Toyos are some of the loudest MTs out there but their sidewalls are tough. I know BFGs have their new KM3s out now too so I may look at those. I really like the Yokohama Geolandar MT G003s on the FJ. They are the quietest mud terrain I've ever ran. Not available in this size though.

I do see the depth now that you mention it. They look pretty thick too. They remind me of a set of Method Standards I had on another Toyota. Think I can still get MB through my tire supplier.
