Anyone running 33x10.5 inch tires on a stock Tacoma with TRD Sport Wheels? 3rd Gen

Yep. Tire Size is incredibly useful.

I ran a 33/10.5 tire on the 17” 4Runner Pro rims. They fit and worked great. And just so know, as it seems most people don’t realize this, that lifting your truck won’t help you fit larger tires except when it’s parked. What do you think happens when the suspension compresses on your lifted truck? Everything ends up in the same location it was at before you lifted it. So if a tire doesn’t fit on your stock truck it’s not going to fit on a lifted truck.

A 33x10.5 tire is a great size for these trucks lifted or not.

 

Your right, plus lifting 3 inches on a shock that only has 4 or 4.5 inches total really limits the travel.

 

Awesome! Do you still run them now? If so, do you mind sending a picture of how much space there is between the tire and the UCA? I know the T4R Pro rims and the Taco TRD sport rims offsets are a little different

 

Actually I’m not. I switch up my tires and sometimes my wheels every year. Wanted to try out the new 2020 Tacoma Pro rims so I switched to those and a 285/75 tire earlier this year.

Yes, the offset plays a very important role in fitting larger tires. I did take a bunch of pictures in how they fit including some with the UCA right after I got them mounted last year. I’ll check and see if I still have them tomorrow and will post some pictures on here if I find them.

4mm. Those are the factory 4Runner Pro rims. I believe the factory 16” Taco Pro rims are 15.
