Window tint, debadged, fog-lite anytime mod, aftermarket taillights, low profile toolbox modded with three mountain bike mounts, JVC dvd headunit, Kicker hideaway, Fox 2.5" IFP with DSM UCA's, Allpro standard (soon to be expedition) leaf pack, 255/85r16 BFG KM2's, 1.25" spidertrax wheel spacers, powdercoated gloss black TRD offroad rims with color matched center caps.
I will be needing new tires in a few months and was just curious if anyone is currently, or have in the past, ran a 275/70r16? If so what all was involved to clear that size? Wouldn't mind getting some 5100's and or wheel spacers if needed, but I'm just trying to go with a modest upsize. I understand you can run the 265/75r16 on a stock trd, but that is also a narrower tire than the stock 265/70r16. Any input would be greatly appreciated. And yes I did search before posting so please spare me the hazing... ;)

Not sure if anyone makes a 275/70/16. No, 265/75/16 is the same width as 265/70/16. Just slightly larger.

265 is the same width as 265

I am running 275/70/17 with no rub

I am lifted 2 1/2" in front and have LR UCA's , but there is no rub on my UCA's at that width

IIRC the tire comparer I use at work was saying you loose actual width in the tread contact (only a half inch but still). Michelin offers the orrigional LTX M/S which should get 80k+ on our truck. Sounds enticing. Thanks for the help guys- livel0veryde

General makes a 275/70R16, I just ordered a set from Discount Tire Direct, about $125 each, shipped. Grabber UHP is the model and get this, made in USA! (Continental owns General now).
Ordered some wheels too, so haven't mounted them yet.

I think these may have been discontinued as they seem hard to find.

No pics, but they look great! No regrets, gas mileage did not go down either.
PM your email and I'll send over a couple.
