Looking at coastal off road skids or bud built. Just wanted to know how people liked them.

I have the BudBilt IFS skid and their transmission skid. 3/16" steel. Love 'em, though they are heavy as hell. Budbilt makes a wider skid than some other brands like All Pro and RCI, it covers the LCA cams while some other brands leave those exposed.

If you need assured protection against rocks then Budbilt is a good way to go.

I have the Budbuilt IFS and transmission skid as well. @eon_blue is correct, they are pretty damn heavy. If you plan on testing their durability, they will deflect a bit. A lot of guys will weld in some bracing for rigidity, but this goes with almost all skids, not just the Budbuilt's.
