Really interested in the MR312 -12 offset vs. the 0 offset wheels. I've had my sights set on the 0 offset, as that seems like the most popular/safest offset to avoid rubbing issues. Would love to see some of the negative offsets and hear about any issues experienced. Obviously I'm more focused on method wheels, but feel free to post any non-method negative offset wheels.

16x8 w/ 4” backspace, -12 offset Ray10s wrapped with 265/75/16 Wildpeaks. Rubs ever so slightly on the left drivers side when making a rt turn due to the infamous “Taco Lean”. Currently stock height, but soon to be lifted about 2”.

I test fit my Method NV 305's last week without my lift installed. They are 18x9 -12mm/4.5" with Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/60's. The front of the tire came into contact with the air dam. The rear of the tire barely touched the inner fender. Had I gone with a 0-offset, they would've cleared. Driving it with that combination may have proved otherwise. Do you have a tire size in mind?

My goal was to go with a 275-70-17 (using a 0 offset wheel). I don't have a lift yet, and even if I did, it sounds like 285's just run a little too big without some heavier modification.

Looks good! It looks like you have a bit of a lift on it, have any rubbing issues?

Love the look of that setup. Kind of surprised your getting interference with 265's...guessing it's the offset....which is what I was afraid of.

Yeah it’s the putter edge of the tire rubbing on the inner plastic fender when making a rt turn. To fix it all I need to do is take a heat gun and re-mold it a touch, just been lazy as it’s not that much of a big deal right now.

Yeah, with my 265/70s I had Bilstein 5100s with 885 coils. I rubbed still and had to take the flaps off. I still rubbed when turning downhill (the weight shifted to one side). I have 888 coils now and so far I have only slightly rubbed in reverse while goin quick. (I did CMC for these tires tho)

I knew going with a 285/60 tire and the wheel specs I chose, I'd be very close to the wheel well on stock suspension. Plan has always been to lift the truck but I wanted to see how close those fronts were to touching beforehand.
