    Oops!

make sure to check your halos before you connect them to your shroud and glue your shroud to the projector

broke three tabs on the inside of the projector pulling it back off after JB Weld (recommended by retrofit)
three bad Diodes in this halo

Results after pulling shroud off with JB Weld

I believe I can save the shroud (put a lot of work into painting it and don’t want to paint another one)

I am have trouble with this

in order to tighten them down I had to take the bulbs out... when you tighten them they move a little. you get them lined up, take the igniters off and tighten them down and you’re out of line again...ugh!

    How did you tackle this?

If you need to you could put a screw near the edge of the H4 plate to keep it from moving when you twist on the ignitor.

it really was a PITA. But what I did was (1) tighten the nut down (clockwise) on the D2S threads using a ratchet and their key/tool for the nut, then (2) when it went past the point of being level, I took that off and used channel locks on the D2S threads to bring the beam back the other direction (counter clockwise). Repeat 1 and 2 until it the nut and bulb are really tight and nearly level. Then you can just barely back the nut off, in very small adjustments, so you can make small counter clockwise adjustments with the channel locks. You’ll want to over compensate on the counter clockwise adjustment a bit so that when you go to tighten it again, it hopefully comes out level. It takes a good bit of trial and error. I did this with them installed in the truck but probably could’ve been easier on a bench.
