I've pretty much decided that unless I find a sweet deal on some good used tires, then I'm going to buy a set of 33x12.50 super swamper ssr radials. They are supposed to be a great mud tire and do well in snow and are also said to be road friendly. They are basically a toned down radial version of the original tsl. I was just wonderin if anyone out there had them and could give some advice. Thanks! Anything is appreciated!

I ran them on my 2 door Tahoe in a 285. I fuckin loved those tires. Great in snow. The noise was just a tad louder then my BFG MTs and I didn't notice that much difference weight wise. They do run on the large size so watch out. They are decently priced too.

How about the trxus? Those are probly my second choice since they are cheaper and probly wont kill my mpgs as much.

I ran 36 ssr tires on my old yukon. They were very good on the road for a mud tire. They did good in the mud but not great imo. This was my everyday truck so I enjoyed them becuase they were pretty quiet on the road and very smooth (even when wore out).

Ok, thanks for the advice! glad I didn't go buy a set of 33's and end up rubbing the Shit out of everything. If I buy swampers ill be sure to get 32x11.50s
