so I have a silver double cab Trd Off road but have never been crazy about the wheels. I do like the silver sr5 aluminum wheels and am currently contemplating purchasing a set.

Has anyone put these on their Trd Off road? If so, please share a pic or two. Thanks!

Post in the 3rd Gen Marketplace that you have a set of OR wheels to trade for SR5 wheels

Wouldn't it look the same as an SR5....imagine black fenders and BAM, magic.

I don't think it's a common swap but the trucks will look the same.

    Good call Sir!

FWIW the SR5 wheels dress up very well with the same BFG KOs on them. I saw this truck on eBay a week or so ago and saved the pic. It’s lifted though but you get the idea.

I actually just had the tires turned back to white letters facing in. Thought I’d like them out, but the black is a lot better. Those SR5 wheels are really cool though!

    thanks for the pics all.

anyone else have pics of sr5 wheels on a trd off road? Or in other words, a 3rd gen tacoma with black fenders and sr5 aluminum wheels.

    thanks!

Wouldn’t it still just look like an Sr5... with Off-road stickers?

Picked up a set for winter tires. Paid $100/wheel shipped. A good option and probably better quality than many aftermarket wheels. Should work great with 255s if you want to go narrow. I think they are narrower than OR wheels?

I do not claim to be in the know when it comes to the slight differences between the various tacoma models, but I haven't been able to find a non trd off road that has black fenders and sr5 aluminum wheels. The non trd models have colored matched fenders (like in Greenbean's post above). These are the same wheels that'd I'd like to see on a trd off road with black fenders.

That's another thing, I found a set for half the price locally but am not 100% convinced how it would look.

As far as the width goes, here is a good thread that talks in more detail about the aluminum and dark satin wheels on the sr5s. Both look great on the sr5s imo.

Pretty sure they are the same sizes, 16x7 and same offset.
