Anyone running the TRD pro exhaust.....

I currently have a magnaflow muffler the sound is nice but on the highway very loud i am considering the TRD pro exhaust for more of a factory sound and noise level, is anyone currently running it or anyone have a pro was just wondering the sound difference compared to factory if any. I have listened to sound clips but very hard to get a good idea with those. If you have any other recommendations as far as exhaust goes please chime in.

 

I installed the TRD intake and the noise level on the highway went down .. a lot less drone... I was totally surprised. I have a magnaflow exhaust all the way back with 3" pipe.

 

wow so the intake lowered the exhaust sound?

 

The highway drone... pretty much gone.

I have both the TRD intake and TRD exhaust on a 17 TRD-OR 6speed. Video's and feedback included in thread.

 

Does the pro have a better sound?

 

TRD exhaust is FAR better sounding than the factory-stock. Deeper sound, refined sound. After I had the TRD catback and TRD intake installed, within the first 30 minutes of driving I was left wondering how on earth the TRD models dont come with these things installed from the factory. For the Manual trans ( which stay in higher REVS longer and more often) these changes were dramatic. This truck performs best in the higher revs and the exhaust and intake made these bands of power in the truck extremely smooth, predictable and controllable. Throttle response was better too.

 

I think i will be ordering both in the near future i have been debating for a while now just need to get some prices ........
