Anyone running this kit? Thinking about picking it up for my 2018. Looking for feedback and photos. Also trying to decide if I need the diff drop and the driver side needle bearing bushing. Thank you.

No, but I have Toytec Boss on the front of my 4Runner. That was a welcome improvement over stock. Hated the nose dive on braking.

    Is your tacoma pavement only?

Will be light off road at the hunting club at the most. I’m getting Method MR701 wheels (16x8- 0 offset-4.5 inch backspacing) and 265/75/16 Falken Wildpeak AT3 tires and I just want it to be a little higher for looks and just not rub when off-road.

You don’t need a lift. That tire size runs fine even with -10 offset if you don’t have front mud flaps. 0 offset is even better.

As mentioned above, no lift required for 265's.

2" lift front and rear worked with my 285's

Really? I figured it would run off-road. May just get that stuff installed and see how it looks/functions. I just don’t want to cut anything on this truck. I don’t have mud flaps.

Yeah... I’m scared to death to go with a 285/75/16 because I don’t want to have to touch my body mount.

    Just generic found on Amazon.
Dont tell anyone if you use spacers. You'll be shunned from the community and ridiculed at every opportunity. :crapstorm:

My 285 Coopers are 32.6" and dont touch anything.
At full hard lock they just barely touch the rear of the upper A arms. Not even enough to give a shit about.

This is my 2015 with a 3 inch lift and 265s. I didn’t think it looked bad. I was scared of 285s then too. But I also wanna keep my CV angles good without having to do a diff drop on this one.

    Yes.
These are 285's on stock rims with 2" spacer lift found on Amazon for $81.

    20181125_132417_resized.jpg

The whole project, tires + lift + alignment was just under $700.

Okay thank you. I was just called and told the 16x8 MR701 wheels are out of stock until late December. So I changed my order to the 17x8.5 0 offset 4.75 backspacing. I just had no clue what the difference in wheel width and backspacing would mean in terms of rubbing. I know the 265/70/17 is slightly smaller than a 265/75/16 in the wildpeaks.
