I have been looking at these (same size & load) online for a few months, you are the first one I’ve seen with them.

How do you like them, how’s the road noise, would you buy them again ?

    Thanks

Great looking tire but they're super heavy.

Tire comes in at 43#. Not heavy. Road noise is not bad at all. I was driving a ‘24 mustang 2.3 this past weekend, and that thing sounds horrible at highway speeds.
Ftr I have no sound proofing, and have removed the panel behind the backseats, blankets, tarps and tools are all in place. they make more noise than the 265/75/16 bfg ko2 I had. But it’s not much of a difference.
They look great, knobs on the sidewalls, my friend was pointing out that the at3 on his jeep just don’t look very aggressive.

on the trail I aired down just about 7# or so and they glided along sucking up everything.

Thats fair, but my 285/75/16 are larger tires with more side wall and overall tire and are #54. Apple to apples in the RT Trails in 285s it's #61. #28 of additional unsprung weight is impactful when it comes to performance and mpg.

Yeah, I went from 265/75/16, bfg ko2 e load at #52 with a #22 wheel. To a 275/70/17 rt trail hl load at #43 and #25 wheel. So I saved some weight and gained diameter, which probably negates the weight somehow according to science.

My 285's are the same weight as when I had Toyo Open Country R/T's in 265/75/16 but not accounting for rotational mass being different and the speedometer being even further off from increased tire diameter.

First off, your truck is looking good!
I’m getting the exact same tires installed in a couple days. How are they doing for you? How is the wet road handling?
What front bumper is that? Looks clean. Well done!

Thanks. They do fine on wet, better than the ko2s. Have had them aired down a couple of times and they just cruise along. The road noise isn’t bad at all. And they always look good.
That’s the greenlane offroad stump bumper with wings. Weighs like 49 lbs.

Thanks for the input! I’ve been running AT3’s on my last few trucks, and they’ve always been good to me. But if the RT Trails perform near as well and look twice as good, I’ll be a happy camper!
Greenlane bumper looks good and a really nice weight. Just not sure when I’d get up to Canada to pick it up.
