Not saying it is bad, but these reviewers go crazy about iPod connectivity and stuff. It you don't have the latest and greatest these guys will complain (not to say Tacoma's radio system sucks). Toyota has made no noticeable refinement on this vehicle and these reviewers see that.

    I love my Taco.

Not really seeing anything inaccurate there. Eye of the beholder. Many of the reviews are done by people who probably don't own a truck, or if they do only use it in the same way they would a car. If that's the intent, the Tacoma is absolutely long on the tooth. Really glad competition in this space is heating up. I love my Tacoma, but Toyota has had no motivation at all to change it.

A friend of mine laughed when I bought my '12 Taco. He went out and paid $40+ for a Chevy. Today he tried to trade the Chevy on a newer model. They offered him $18,000...for a three year old fully loaded truck! Reason he wanted to trade it? It was always in the shop. My Taco? Except for oil changes and service, Never in the shop! Some people never learn!

I made several round trips from Louisville to Destin, Florida and from Louisville to Jekyll island, Georgia in my stock 2009 Tacoma Sport. It rode and drove as well as anything I've ever driven. Ride is fine for me. That's why I have a 2015 on order.

I have to agree with George Strait, whether he be the famous one or not.
I read so many articles by shitbags that probably have a 4 year degree of some sorts, didn't try real hard, and now are trying to forge they're way in the world. Be it by knowledge or be it by bullshit, they only seek to survive....like a hyena.

I have to agree with high floor low roof comment. At 6'3", I am always hitting my head getting in. The rest of the review I don't agree. I really like the ride and handling. Big improve the over 1st gen.

Poor handling? I have no problem with my trucks handling whatsoever. My Tacomas ride has actually been complimented by everybody who has riden in it. High step in? Last I knew, it is a TRUCK. This is one of the reasons I got it. And I could give two shits about Ipod connectivity, GoPro mounts etc etc...

Yahoo apparently is in love with Jenner (he, she, both), Kardashians, and the Colorado and hates any challengers to those. Personally I'm of the complete opposite opinion.

I think they thought they were driving a car kind of thrown in the middle of a bunch of cars. We own a Scion in the last 100K it has been flawless absolutely nothing has gone wrong with it other than a battery not even a light bulb.
