Hey guys, I have a problem with my interior lights not turning on when I open any door for my 2017 Tacoma. I made a big mistake and left my moonroof open and tailgate window open last week and it rained hard. Sensors work, as the “door open” notification comes on beside the speedometer. All lights and electronics work, but I have to turn the lights on manually, whereas they used to turn on when a door was opened. Took down overhead console a few days after the incident and everything looked fine, but head liner was damp when I discovered that I left the windows open. The morning of, and following days, I tried my best to mediate the situation, heater on for hours and manually drying off. Mildew smell came, and I just cleaned my carpets and got rid of the smell. Now only thing that I have to fix now is the lights. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should look for first, as far as diagnosing goes? Is there a specific fuse to turn lights on when a door opens? I’m going to make a separate post for this as well...
