Just checked this out the other day & you DO have a point even if not they def give the impression that they're just tearing across the terrain going over whatevers in the way , not going to help change any negative opinions for sure, as far as the cast goes not impressed, too much drama..

 

Why does Carl wear latex gloves while driving? He has blue nitrile - almost like dishwashing - gloves on about 1/3 of the time.

 

I can't tell if they are latex gloves, or what I call "Ninja" gloves. Cloth gloves covers in the latex to make it waterproof.

 

First guess would be because it's grips the steering wheel better since his wheels is cloth covered that's all ripped up. Also after dealing with mud it covers his hands that are muddy instead of getting it all over the wheel and slipping.

 

God that'd make your hands sweat. I hate sweaty hands!
