After again looking closer because of your post, both intake cam gears have substantial wear on the sprockets for the chains that time the exhaust cams. That would then mean that both tensioners failed or were both had extremely tight springs in them.

The main teeth also have obvious wear markings, which make me curious how the crank sprocket looks?

The Cloyes timing kit has the big primary chain, the two smaller secondary chains, new guides, new tensioners, the exhaust gears (using URD ones) and the crank sprocket. The gears with the worn/missing teeth are the factory Toyota gears with 204k miles. Motor has been getting increasingly tappy at idle (loose tensioners?) and it actually jumped time dropping a motor to be built off at the machine shop. Borescope shows the piston barely hit the valves on the bank that jumped time seen by the small silver spot on what's otherwise a dark piston at the top. How it ran for as long as it did driving the way I do I can only chalk up to luck or Toyota reliability. Don't know where the extra bits went or what the crank looks like but everything up top looks okay, tensioners move freely, chains don't bind, cam caps aren't scored or seized anywhere. Have an oil pressure gauge that reads 16psi hot idle which I believe to be normal so tensioners I think would have pressure. I don't rev the engine past 5700 but putting down 402HP to wheels and driving spiritedly wondering if the cams are working harder to open valves but if that's the case why others haven't seen this. Could be like was said new chains on already wearing gears.20221103_173356.jpg

What's your typical hot climate ambient temps, and what weight oil do you use? What's your average OCI, as well?

Usually about 85 and just over 90 degrees on a hot day. Have a factory oil cooler coupled with the URD thermostat, CSF radiator, and electric fans never seen oil temp over 220. Is too cold possible? Usually run about 190. Usually use mobile 1 5w40 changed every 5000 miles up to 180000 miles then changed every 2-2500 miles after that.

Blackstone labs report from before I was boosted. Shows high copper and iron but I've seen worse reports. Could be a problem I missed during rebuild and the extra power just accelerated it. Screenshot_20221116-124607_Drive.jpg
