hey linwood what did you think of your RF p3 shallow. my buddy is looking into 1 10" p3 for his extended cab 04 f150 and thinks it's going to beat. but i said idk man. his set up was going to be just one 10 and running it by a RF p300.1

i have never heard the p3 shallows but i have heard one tw5 and man for what that thing is it beats lol

The Shallow P3 is is ok for an OEM style bass IMO. I had the 12 and an RF 800a2 bridged on it. I had it turned down a bit because I didn't want to blow it up. I basicly only really HEARD it when it was turned way up!

Theres money to be made there, that is a sweet setup, and i'll bet there would be a bunch of people on here that would pay for that setup. Including me.

Here's the deal on the setup...

I fiberglassed the steel tub that is there and left the top open. It does NOT come out. I was able to create a special type of board that would interface with the rim of the tub so it would seal up into an airtight box. Whenever I want to change the setup I just make myself a new board. Takes me about 3 hours.

I would LOVE to sell the baffle boards for you guys but the bottom section (glassing the area and cutting some metal) takes a decent amount of work and I don't think most people would be up for it.

I'd absolutely produce a drop in box if I thought it were possible but the unique shape of the bin makes it impossible to get a box in or out without killing the space. Think about squeezing your hand down a small pipe and then making a fist out the other end and now you can't get your hand out.

Really like your new system . You should upload a video on youtube playing some music. If you could go with 10s witch ones would you buy?

I'll see if I can get a vid later today.

Tens wont fit on the baffle because it's not wide enough. But if I was to use 10's for another application I might look at the Dayton stuff (HO and HF). The SDX10 from Bob at CSS is an animal. I'm a dealer for his products and recently put two 10's in my buddies house for home theater. Those things are just plain wicked. It really depends on what the space constraints are and the price range.
