When I bought my 2017 Tacoma from a dealer, I had the dealer install a legit Trd Pro grill in mine and told him to throw away the Trd Sport grill. This is my 4th Tacoma over the last 12 years or so and every last one of them I've switched the grill with the idea that I would sell the factory grill but never did. I've listed them on eBay and CL but no one ever bought them so I just tossed my latest grill...

I paid $40 for one back in March, grille and trim ring. Some people ask up $150 but here in Oregon we legalized weed so you can figure that one out pretty quickly.

I have my chrome Sport grille in the Pro grille box in a closet. Will probably put it back on if I trade in for another 3rd Gen.

Don’t throw it away, give it to your favorite someone as a Art Decor light for Christmas as a symbolic expression of your love - or maybe take it to your mancave for lighting when she throws you out:

I successfully bought one for 50bux and I'll tell ya why.... There are so many schmos running around here with the faux Pro's I can't even look at them, let alone drop 150-350 on one myself. I actually wanted the Pro version in the worst way, but I see too may of them. I like to be somewhat different in that you seldom ever see, around here, a stock painted one.

So, a friend, who is rep for PPG, is going to epoxy base coat mine then flat back it. It's sanded and prepped, just waiting for paint. I think they look pretty damn good that way. The ones I've seen on here anyway.....
