was browsing around ebay and found 2 hilux diesel engines for sale. i think 1800 with everything included for a swap but i was wondering if anyone has done this? and can it be done? and what all would need to be changed? i think itd be pretty interesting since you see some tacos with supra engines and what not.

You would need the tranny, and brain from a doner vehicle. Not sure if the motor mounts are the same.

That's insanely expensive. How hard can it be? I remember RB26DETT swaps for 240sx being that much...and that engine wasn't made to fit in a 240sx.
