Anyone taken delivery of a 24 TRD Pro yet?

My OR Hybrid has been on the same journey as yours, on its way to AZ. It arrived to port at Long Beach ("Vessel Arrive") on 6/14, but there hasn't been any further movement since..

Something tells me, as @Buckeye1776 says, that there's a hold-up at the port due to logistics/delayed accessories. I was told to expect it before the end of this month when I first got my allocation at the beginning of June, but it's not looking likely at this point. And I'm sure with the port backed up they haven't been able to ship any more from MX either until they clear those at port out.

 

Yeah I was pretty excited seeing others show up in the recent week or so but now with no movement in the status makes my excitement go pretty low lol
I've just come to the conclusion of when it's here it's here. Guessing mid July at this point but who knows maybe the dealer will call and surprise us both in the next week.

 

The engine makes plenty of power- especially the hybrid.

For 35's or 37's you need to regear for any engine unless it's one of the few new vehicles that actually have the right gears from the factory for tires that big.

Sure, you can make them fit, but even with an American v8 you are overloading the transmission and the engine without having the proper gear ratio.

The TRD Pro shouldn't have any problems pushing the 35's but the user experience will drop considerably without the re gear.

The math is just bad and the gears fix it.

 

One can only hope! I'm the same way, it'll be here when it gets here and hopefully the extra attention means fewer problems down the road?

 

Hope so man. A little nervous about letting my 2012 trd off road go after having 160k on it and having next to no problems after having it for 12 yrs. Hopefully we don't get a lemon lmao

You buying yours up in the Phoenix area?
Mine will be coming into Tucson. Currently living out in Colorado but I'm going to fly out when it's in and register it in Arizona to save cost on tax/ registration ect. Plus was only able to find the color combo I wanted out there. Pretty crazy it's at the exact dealership I got my 2012 at. Back to where it all started.

Still kind of deciding on what size of tires id like to go with. The shop I'm taking it to in Arizona is called westcott designs they have a pretty cool YouTube channel. They actually just got a trd pro tacoma in yesterday and are testing out different wheels and tires that will fit. There supposed to send me a few photos of the truck with different rims and tires here soon I'll throw the photos up on here whenever the employee messages me them.

 

Yep, buying from a Phoenix dealer. Only having to fly 1000 miles from Austin, TX to find the trim/spec I wanted with minimal PIO lol. Should be a fun trip home

 

How Fars your drive? Mine back to Colorado is about 15 hrs

My OR hybrid went from 7/5-7/18 to 7/3-7/7 yesterday. Hoping it arrives before I head out of town this weekend..

 

My pro went from 7/1-7-5 to 7/18-7/22 and showing on HOLD now. Looks like alot of Pro’s have been put on hold for some reason
