    Drifter....ARRIVED!
Dometic and dogs - great combo. We just ordered our Dometic CFX40 today (!) from REI with their 20% anniversary sale coupon - that local year long guarantee is nice and so is REI. Should be a nice addition to our Drifter set up. Plan to access it from a side window. Here are our pups.

CarverLB, we had a fawn boxer for 13 years and know how hard it is to say goodbye. She was our first pup; a rescue and strong as rock. These are two softies that haven't known a hard day in their life - unless you call waiting until 7pm for food life threatening (the Boston might).

My wife and I were just discussing this weekend that, if you have your off grid charging/storage system set up, this is a game changer.
We even throw ice cube trays in for happy hour duty.

Since we are doing dogs (and I have no idea what this other thing is), here’s our new pup and the catalyst for the Taco purchase. Her predecessor was a 4lb chihuaha who passed away unexpectedly young. So we went for (what will be) a 100lb Rottweiler. As a 12 week old pup her crate already didn’t fit in our hatchback... and now she is 19 weeks and 45lbs. Oof.

I think this post has gone way too far off rails and needs to be renamed to something like "lets see your dog photos" :)

These are mine...well the Boxer is mine (Tessie), the Boston's are my wife's (Willow and Luna). Tessie is more the Captain of the ship. She puts her paws on the center console and supervises.IMG_20180322_102314_666.jpg

these are my two favorite dogs. When it comes to drive, obedience, and want to please you couldn't ask for a better set of dogs. I have a GSP but I have yet to find a painted Llewellyn in my area or price range.

Thank you. These are my “twin brothers from different mothers.” I’ve never seen two boys so close when you consider setter vs. gsp, 6yo vs. 3yo... they are constantly playing, wrestling, touching. I am working really hard to get them hunting together.
Setter is not a Llewelyn, but a Johnny Crockett dog. My Llewelyn is the tri-color chestnut in my lap from one of the other pictures I posted her. She was a beast, especially on the worst days.

    But I will agree...
... you have good taste in bird dogs. lol

Yep, you are right! But, sometimes you want to be “out” so long that a Yeti isn’t enough. ‘Tis what it is... and I wouldn’t recommend it to someone that doesn’t need it.

But, they are cheaper than lift kits, mud tires, skid plates, winches, lights...

If you use it, it is worth the price.
