sorry bro, shitty situation. I have bought and sold on here a lot and it really pisses me off when this crap happens, gives a bad taste throughout the site. I would def be giving the old man a call. doesn't matter if it was $6 or $600. Good luck.

 

I'm not one to say much but from past experience I have to say a bit here. There is no need for others to get into this mess. Obviously the point he wanted to state is be wary about buying anything from this seller. With that being said, don't jump on the band wagon until you know the story from both sides. This isn't Jerry Springer, let it be resolved with time.

 

I normally would agree with your statement. However the OP tried to do that in other threads. Even went as far as not mentioning his name or anything and only asked for half his cash back. The OP is at the table trying to rectify, where is the seller to state his side? Its been going since Sept and Bugsy has not commented once. It was time to call him out on this.

you should atleast have replied to me in pm's or text. but you just ignored me, maybe you should have said give me a few more days or something. but we agreed 60 bucks would be good. i gave you more than 2 months and you still didnt come through and are pretty much saying what you said to me the first time i contacted you, that i got screwed. which ain't cool man. this site makes owning a tacoma alot better.. again i would have understood had i bought them off craigslist but it ain't right doing it on here to other tacoma/toyota owners.

Understanding there is always a risk factor in buying used, however most folks are upset because when purchasing 'pre-owned" items they hold this site above your avg Ebay/Craigslist transaction. Its more of community thing here where from my limited experience because im fairly new everyone seems to look out for each other, its where we all come when we have issues.

$120.00 sounds to me like full price for a set of used shocks in good working order. You should have done the free re-charge prior to selling them.
