    for adjustable coilovers?

you buy used, you take your chances, especially with suspension parts...

i don't know too many folks in the FOR SALE section of TW who pro-actively take apart the suspension parts they sell when upgrading their systems...

given that the more well known coilovers sell for $500+ used, $120 sounds too good to be true, and as with most other deals you find out in the world, this set of Leepers WAS too good to be true...

one person told Frank that the shocks were not worth rebuilding... Andre even asked if Frank took the time out to research the cost of parts to rebuild the shocks, but it doesn't look like that option was even explored first before y'all gathered up your stones to begin stoning the sinner...

BRAND NEW, the Leepers sold for $500... even if the parts to rebuild the shocks comes out to $250, you have brand new working shocks for less than the original retail price...

as for all the stone throwing around TW lately...

ain't nobody here holier than anybody else... i see posts about beating Zack's ass, or giving out his number so folks can fuck with him on the phone for jacking Frank... those actions are illegal according to the California Penal Code, but you all seem to think it's ok, but that makes you as much a sinner now, doesn't it?

unless you are the son of God, we are all born sinners, so step back a little, chill, and go work on your trucks or go hit some dirt...

as for the whole COMMUNITY THING... research what you are buying... if you don't know anything about the parts you are buying, take someone with you who does or ask around before you buy so you can get pointers on what to look out for... DON'T SHOP BASED ON PRICE

learn how to check the shock shafts for pits and dead spots so you have a better idea of the condition of the seals and gaskets... learn what keywords to listen for when given an item description... learn what the going prices are on the item as the lower the price, the more work will likely have to go into the item...

and always assume that used parts will need some kind of TLC unless the seller claims they are in excellent condition, but even then, RESEARCH...

$120 for a set of coilovers is dirt cheap. I rebuilt my SAW triple bypasses for $150 total. Not to say that not returning texts is wrong, but you get what you pay for. I would never spend $120 on coilovers because that price just sounds shady. just my .02

If product is sold as is, then it should be kept as is. It sounds like Leeper is being the fucktard and the two parties are getting screwed over because of it.

fuck i dropped a g on coilovers, there is no way you lost anything for 120. I understand the non-returning texts and pms, but otherwise still i think its a good deal.

I'm sitting here thinking the springs alone have to be worth 120. Pay $250 or so to have them reman'd like the guys here are saying. $370 for coilovers is crazy cheap. My front COs run around 1350....120 is scratch when it comes to truck chunks.
