Bout the same imo. Book tells you to use ECT while towing so I don't think the flash affected it.

I did. Had to use ect and 4th for 200 miles, talking about a ride lol.
Doing 65 to close 70mph, trying to keep it under 3k rpm. Didn't notice anything. Did the tsb the day after and significant difference. Smoother shifting and less hunting.

2016 trd offroad Tacoma.

I have towed about 4K miles after the tsb, like said above, your supposed to tow with the ect activated and I don't believe the tsb changes anything in that mode. However, I have noticed a big difference without the trailer and without the ect, no more searching for gears or bogging!
